She is in currently a Lecturer for Stanford University\, teaching Lean Launchpad\, one of the premier entrepreneurship classes at Stanford. Prior to that\, she was a Consulting Professor at Stanford teaching the introductory course in Analog Circuit Design for nearly a decade. Mar serves on the board of trustees of Harvey Mudd College and the Advisory Board of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Carnegie Mellon University. His pioneering innovations in health care technology—used by hospitals in 15 countries to diagnose and treat millions of patients—span the areas of AI\, precision medicine\, clinical genomics\, medical imaging\, digital pathology\, and augmented reality. During his time as venture partner at NLC\, the largest health tech venture studio in Europe\, Jorge also co-built seven startups. \nJohn Memarian is the vice president for the imaging and informatics practice at CitiusTech. DESCRIPTION:If you are a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent attorney or an agent residing internationally\, you can get a better understanding of how patent examiners make decisions at the Stakeholder Training on Examination Practice and Procedure (STEPP) international agent/attorney four-day course on February 13-16. \nRegistration for this interactive virtual course is open through Tuesday\, February 6\, or until registration is full. Course acceptance will be sent to eligible candidates\, based on the following: \n\nActive USPTO registration number\nUSPTO registration status showing residence outside of the United States\nAvailable space\n\nThis course will be led by USPTO trainers and will be based on the same training material that new USPTO examiners receive. It will focus on how examiners review patent applications according to the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP). \nIf you are accepted\, you will need to complete pre-activity homework. This includes completing several computer-based training modules and reading resource materials.
